Piers Tattersall

Piers Tattersall studied composition with Joseph Horovitz at the Royal College of Music. On graduating he took up a residency at La Villa Matte in Sardinia, working with pianist Peter Waters and ?violinist Valentino Corvino. In 2011 his violin concerto Kreisler, l'entre deux guerres was premiered and toured by Henning Kraggerud and the Britten Sinfonia. In his recent work Piers has begun to incorporate electronics. His piece Analogue for flute and radio, received its premiere in September 2015 performed by Rarescale and Frames for Piano, Cello and Electronics was premiered with the support of the Breathe Arts Health Research by the Edison Ensemble in June 2016.
